The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oli Best Road Safety (OBR) Organization, Mr. Richard Karikari has called on drivers to adhere to the medical advice given to them by their respective medical assistants.
According to him research conducted by the organization indicates that about 87% of commercial drivers die out of medical challenges on their line of duty resulting to accident which need to be addressed.
He urged the drivers to desist from the habit of taking in substances to boost their health when driving for a long journey and seek for right advice from qualified doctors to boost their immune system.
He said research also conducted by the organization indicates that most drivers die behind the steer when driving as a result of health challenge or fatigue and called on the public not to associate these deaths to accidents.
He advised drivers to also visit eye specialist to check on their eyes in order to reduce the alarming accident cases.
In his interview to the Media, he called on policy makers to help implement the guidelines earmarked by the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) in the country to help save our roads.

He called on government and the National Road Safety Organization (NRSA) to allow the laws take its cost to put drivers on their track to save lives and properties in the country.
He again appealed to car owners to ensure the periodic health check of their drivers to reduce accidents driven by human errors.
